Highland Church has been and is known to be a church that evangelizes and cares for the souls of men. We recognize the importance of obeying God’s word and we are ready to answer the following questions regarding evangelism:
1) Why do we evangelize?
We must obey the command of our Lord Jesus, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the
name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”. (Matthew 28:19)
2) Why is it so vital that we evangelize today?
The unsaved are unable to discern the meaning of the gospel and are incapable of perceiving the good news,
unless they hear the gospel. They are simply lost. (2 Corinthians 4:3-4, Romans 10:14-15)
3) What must we do?
We must share and communicate the Gospel of the kingdom with confidence so that they can hear, repent,
believe and receive it by faith in Jesus name.
4) How can they hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ?
This is where the Evangelism Ministry of Highland Church plays a role in outreaches. We must go into the
highways and byways and invite the lost into the kingdom. (Matthew 22:9)
5) When do we meet?
We meet together as a ministry team every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and every Sunday, after the
10:30 a.m. service in Room 13. Sr. Marie Santiago, Ministry Leader.
6) Where do we minister?
We minister on the streets, in the train stations, in the parks, in various private homes and apartment buildings and in front of the malls. We also correspond with those who have received Jesus. We follow up with phone calls to remind them of their confession and we invite then to church to dinner and to the Non-Bible Study.
We gather together to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in a joyful and cheerful atmosphere. We fellowship
in prayer and in breaking of bread. We take the word of God seriously.
