The Highland church Tutoring Program was birthed in a vision to see all children excel academically to their full potential, by supporting them academically, spiritually, and emotionally.

 

Through prayer we let the Holy Spirit reveal what is the best for each individual student as well as tutor. Our goal is to assist children to meet all their academic needs thus giving them the foundational skills they require so that they might bring glory to God and become all that He has created them to be.

 

The tutors endeavor to work with students individually to build self-esteem so that they can be successful in their educational programs. We offer tutoring in all subject areas using technology as a means to prepare children for the next century. Our program includes many alternate methods of instruction including manipulative, songs and pneumonic devices. We are currently using computers enrich academic experiences as well as to meet all learning styles.

All tutoring program have been carefully screened. We accept only those whose lives show evidence of Godly character. In addition they must demonstrate a burden for youth. Many of ours tutors are currently teaching, retired teachers, or studying to be teachers. Others are business professionals who are using their expertise in academic subjects to help the children of our community.
