We kicked off the beginning of Summer with the most glorious day of the year thus far. Good food, great people and picture perfect weather in a nice family atmosphere were all the fixings we needed for a great picnic. See you in September!

In a ceremony at the 10 A.M. service on Sunday, February 17th, 2008 conducted by Pastor Hantz Andre assisted by Br. John Rawlings. Over 28 people made a clear commitment to turn from the old life and publicly declare they have died, and are now beginning a new life, in Christ. Water baptism is an outward “ceremony” which confirms our inward commitment to Christ.

Left alone in the house, five toys come to life and argue about which of them is the best present. Meanwhile, some Nativity characters have quietly entered the room. On a day when most Americans enjoyed a holiday meal with friends and family and gave thanks for the good things in their lives. ‘Highlanders’ took time to serve meals to the needy. On behalf of the pastors and staff, thank you for volunteering at the 4th Annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner sponsored by Highland Church & Sybil’s Bakery & Restaurant.
